Dr Shaun Watson has been called as the senior pastor of Scottsville Baptist Church.     Following his sermon Jan. 5, at Scottsville Baptist, the membership officially called him to serve as the church's senior pastor.
Watson will begin his service as senior pastor March 4.
He has served as the senior pastor of Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robbins, Georgia, since August, 2020.
He has a doctor of theology degree from Newburgh Theological Seminary (2011); a master of arts degree in Christian education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2008); and a bachelor of science degree in church leadership and administration from Boyce College of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2005).
He is married to the former Laura Bosley of Louisville. They have two sons, Toby Jedidiah and Taylor Judah.
