Dear Church Family,
If you haven’t joined us for the Truth Project on Sunday nights, you really are missing out on a blessing! There has been more positive feedback from this Discipleship course than any other that we have offered, bar none. It is still not to late to come, so why not make plans to come next Sunday night, September12th at 5:45 p.m. Remember, there will be no Sunday evening service or activities this week, September 5th, in order to allow our staff to visit with their families.
Next Sunday morning will also begin another session of “Through The Bible In One Year” Sunday school. If you’ve never read through the Holy Bible, or maybe you have, but you long to study the bible as a whole, you should join us for this challenging venture. To date more than fifty people have made the journey, and this year you could join us as well. Materials need to be ordered, so let me know this week.
Before I close I do want to take a moment to thank all of our nursery volunteers who serve on Sunday mornings. These people care for our children and babies, allowing the parents a precious opportunity to be in worship together. This ministry also reduces the disruptions in our worship services, and makes for a more conducive atmosphere for all. If you are serving as a nursery volunteer, you have my heart-felt thanks, and I appreciate what you do for our church. If you can help us with nursery (and we need men as well as women) please give us a call at the church office (237-3451) and let us know.
