Ken Goforth has been our Worship Leader for 25 years. In fact, wearing many hats in the church and community is routine for him. Mr. Goforth is our Music and Youth Leader. Under his leadership the Scottsville Baptist Church has four children's choirs, a youth choir and an adult choir. We also have three handbell choirs. All of our music program is acclaimed throughout the community. Ken Goforth received his Bachelor's Degree in Music from the prestigious Union University at Jackson, Tennessee. He also received a Masters of Church Music at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary at Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to his music leadership Mr. Goforth is an active leader in the community having served on the City Council, Rotary President, YMCA council and other community organizations. He is a Minister of the Gospel in every effort his gives. |
