Our Pastor and his wife, Leigh Ann, have served here at Scottsville Baptist Church since July of 2002. A native of South Carolina, Bro. Dale is a graduate of Anderson College in Anderson, South Carolina, Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Bro. Dale has also served churches in Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
Since coming to Scottsville, the Darleys have felt right at home! "When you enter the city limits the welcome sign says that Scottsville is known as 'The Friendly City', and we've certainly found that to be true." The schools here are excellent for our three children, the local businesses are warm and friendly, and you just can't beat the beautiful change of seasons here in Kentucky! Top all of that off with a church composed of the finest people you'll find anywhere, and you'll understand why we are thankful to share in the ministry here at SBC."
